It's that time again...I hate it, but we need to have the deck refinished and time is my enemy.

Anyone here have a good reference for this? PM me details. Thanks!

Here it is a few years ago.

Hey Tim. Beautiful deck.

Take a look at http://www.deckrescue.net and give me a call. We are BBB and Angies List members and will pass on the traditional "CR" discounts.

I am booking the first week of June right now but we can get you in if you're in a big hurry.

Thanks, Ron

Be sure to mention CR

We had it completely stripped.....looked brand spankin new, then re-stained back in 2001 but then with the hail storm, it got torn up pretty bad and we didn't re-do it afterwards.

I would do the same thing again if the price was good, but we spent a lot to do that and am not sure we'll spend that much again.

The horizontal surfaces take a beating and may need washed and sanded, but the rest is good.

No pulling up anything just cosmetic. PM or post their names and I'll reach out.

I have 2 buddies that work there. They are VERY good at what they do. By "Refinished" do you mean like sanded down and stained? or you mean like pull up all the boards and replace them?

Ok, they pretty much just do re-decking and building new. So they probably couldn't help ya.

Thanks! It is nice. The folks we bought our home from put it in. Western Red Cedar. He routered all the rails and details. Stainless Hex-Head Screws and it's sturdy enough to park a truck on it.

I'm not a deck-man as they do require lots of car. Especially with two Boxers that can take their toll on the floor.

Wired with sound and pretty big, with a nice backyard, it is the party spot for us though :D

Tim, That deck is sweet! I am going to build a new one maybe this year or next.

I'm gonna build a deck this year or in the next few years, but stimulus check doesn't get to help any. Its buying another 100 tons of gravel for some parking around the house and building. No clue on referrals since I do about anything I can myself (cheap bastard.)
