GSXRAntwon
Yep! I hope you put in hardened pushrods!
MrMeanGreen
They woulda had you out sooner if they'd called me ten minutes earlier since I have two boxes of pushrods and valvetrain parts at home I've never seen a pushrod quite like that angle before... Linc5.0
I was misinformed by scott as to the stock redline..and it no longer has a rev limiter. Now that I know where to shift this wont be happing again.
TTQ B4U
That's risky.....I'd rather have a limiter established at some point. I was misinformed by scott as to the stock redline..and it no longer has a rev limiter. Now that I know where to shift this wont be happing again. ODoyle
Is a rev limiter cheaper than the price and hassle of pushrods?
Nate1647545505
Why on earth would you blank out a rev limiter?
Turbotrio
Why on earth would you blank out a rev limiter? The donor car / ECU had a tune in it prior so unless it was done then? We haven't tuned or dynoed the car yet at all. I think Eric plugged in to adjust some fan settings but that has been it on our end thus far. EricZ06
The car has a rev limiter, i just checked and it's at 6500rpm. We haven't tuned it yet, all we have done is just enough code deletes to do the swap. After looking into it, the ECU has been messed with before we touched it.... Nate1647545505
Stock LS1's can't rev to 6200 ?? From all of my time at Mallett - 6,500 RPM was considered the safe point for the rotating assembley on a factory long block.

Tach could be a little screwball, maybe he was hitting 6500+ then ?

Linc5.0
I shift at 6200 sometimes..... it was more the missing the shift and revving out that did it.
Farkas
Put some cams, valvesprings and pushrods in that baby so you can rev it out.. 6200 is only where the fun begins on my 4 banger
