aluminum flywheel = not a good DD part.

your smoking crack buddy......

the twin disk is a great setup and is a great DD clutch. the aluminum flywheel makes it a bit tricker at the drag strip, thats all. but if you consider yourself to be a good driver then i dont see the issue. its just launching the car where some have problems.

and no clark...im not selling the motor now anymore. ill wait till i come back and figure out what im doing with the car then ;)

didn't say the clutch wasn't good for a DD, the flywheel isn't. you loose all the energy that a steel flywheel has because of the weight. you would have to slip the clutch alot more and in traffic that sucks ass. aluminum flywheels are only good for roadracing/autocross. steel makes a much better clutch for drag racing and will have lower 60ft than the aluminum. example GM added 16 pounds to the LS7 clutch and flywheel to make up for the huge weight loss of the rotating assembly useing Ti rods.

your explaining something i already know AJ...i havent had a problem with aluminum flywheels and like them actually. and yes for daily driving too. so GTFO and let the buyer decide if it is right for them. ;)

btw...big price drop on all parts. you will never find them this cheap anywhere else!

yeah i know...but he made it sound alot worse than it truely is. i have had aluminum flywheels in many cars and never had any issues that would make me wanna swap them out. i know LOTS of "drag racers" that have them and they are doing just fine at the strip. you just have to be a slightly better driver IMO
