Veritas Posted July 13, 2008 Author Report Share Posted July 13, 2008 Yes and no. I had the core 2 duo prior to this and not a quad and going from that to the quad was large. Plus I do notice huge gaming gains... but im limited right now to not having a raid set up and my 8800 gtx is starting to look dated.... Veritas Posted July 15, 2008 Author Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 And I forgot to mention I should say I noticed the gain going from a dual core to a quad core, i've had the 6600 and the 6400 and going from the 6400 to the 6600 I really didn't notice any differences what so ever.
