I'm looking to buy one of those Sidekicks (I heard good things about them, and they look pretty badass) but I don't know shit about cell phones, so I'm wondering what you guys think about them. I see a ton of Sidekick II, III, LX, Slide, and ID's for sale on craigslist and I really don't know what the differences are, which ones are better, etc Need some opinions, thanks! Guest mrhobbz Posted July 22, 2008 Report Share Posted July 22, 2008 I had a sidekick 3 for my first month of service with tmobile. I ended up selling it and buying a samsung katalyst. The swivel screen was real flimsy (known to break as well) and the call quality wasn't all that great. I also know people that swear by them.. I'd try to find someone that has one that will let you play with it for a while or maybe even swap out your sim cards for a few days to try it out.
