i used to get mid 30s in my crx, im kicking myself in the ass for getting rid of it

I get 34 mpg on Del Slo and 25/30 mpg on accord, city/highway

I have a 93 civic dx, i usually got around 31-34 in the city and anywhere from 34-42 on the highway, depending on how i fast i drove it, how close i tailgated, etc. I checked fuel economy on every tank in the 80k miles i've owned it. I would say my all time average for freeway is 36-37.

 

Once, I got freakishly good gas milage when i tailgated a semi truck from columbus to latrobe and back, going 55 the whole way, and literally 7-10 feet off his bumper, but if i actually say the number, everyone will tell me to get lost.

07 accord v6 auto, I see around 33-34 on the highway maybe more depending on the driving siruation, the car rides amazing around 70 @ only around 2k rpm its so quiet and the gears are long.

 

I always pussy foot the car around.

My 91 civic dx 4 speed got 40mpg in city and 45 on highway. Oh and I stretched the gears all the time. It was stock except for bigger tires and rims.

why are the acuras getting way worse mpg than the hondas? arent they the same car?

I'm getting somewhere around 54 mpg in my 1991 CRX (HF model) I need to do a multi-tank average since it varies from 49 to 61 per tank (probably due to the pump shutting off early)
