hpfiend
Hey guys- Ran into this guy the other day. He is 23, went to nascar tech for a while and then transferred to UTI where he graduated with degrees in hotrod and streetlegal certifications, he then went to toyota tech and got ase certified in powertrains and diagnosis and something else I cannot remember. He is currently employed outside of his training as he could not find a job anywhere previously and had to pay for his educational debt... His specialty was chassis work and he claims he can tig, mig, fabricate very well. I told him I would throw this out there to people in the industry. pm me and I will pass it along if you are interested. Thanks, Andrew

Guest Hal
He's probably going to need to start as a GS if he has no real experience. He sounds fancy but, that doesn't mean anything without the time put in. Tell him to start applying places.
hpfiend
What is GS? Will he move up from there quickly or would he have been better off to start off as an oil tech out of HS?
