LJ
I broke my lifelong vow and bought a plastic gun today http://a73.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/122/l_b74e2e6624954ccde4c0d55bfb086728.jpg http://a352.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/123/l_99435ddf9ac191d9cb77f4caeca270ff.jpg http://a575.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/75/l_348a2c63c4e7b807963da6afd9deb62e.jpg http://a375.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/104/l_d819399fe02a4e70bd6334fcb991164e.jpg Glock 17 9mm for 3 gun shooting
RedRocket1647545505
Welcome to the tupperware club. Nice choice. That will probably be my next Glock.
LJ
Welcome to the tupperware club. Nice choice. That will probably be my next Glock. It was hard to do, especially with a few sigs for only a few hundred more. I was just going to look at them, but I got the sales person at Gander Mountain to price match a vague Vances ad, so not only did I get a new gun, but I didn't have to go to Vances to do it lol

Guest Hal
My 17 is what turned me against Glock triggers. Other than that, it's a nice gun.
LJ
My 17 is what turned me against Glock triggers. Other than that, it's a nice gun. I'll be getting the trigger worked by my 'smith next week. I have at least trigger work done on every gun I own except my SPX shotgun and my 10/
Clifford Automotive
I have found if you lighten the trigger in glocks they feel sloppy...Now if you make it heavier, its nice.

Probably going to get rid of the play, some of the "dead space" on the trigger pull.
Clifford Automotive
There ya go. That would probably do it. Police issue glocks that Ive shot with higher lbs, I really liked. Like it over my stock.

Scotty2Hotty
Love my Glocks, I has 30SF and 21SF coming My 23 http://a180.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/101/l_ab01982551c42c1e49baa784c39a55e3.jpg (3.5lb trigger on mine, Heine night sights)
RedRocket1647545505
I've got a 3.5Lb connector on my 23, but to tell the truth, I couldn't tell a difference. Other than the connector and extended controls (HIGHLY recommend these), I'm not changing any other part inside the gun since it's a potential carry choice should I ever decide to go that route. If you want a sweet trigger for competition use, check out the Vanek. It's about 1.5Lb with a smooth pull. Probably wouldn't be the best idea for a carry gun, but 3 gun...I'm sure you'd be fine. I think I would jerk the gun from not enough feel on the trigger. Like I said, I think I am going to go with a set up that is more like a real world set up and not a race set up. I'll go to race later if I feel that step is needed. Anyone going to the gun show this weekend? I need to get some magazines for the AR and the Glock.
