just to bump

 

i had gotten some arch supports right around when i posted this. along with running with those, i started doing some calf raises and leg presses. this week i started running in the morning before work, which seems a little easier as well

 

this morning i did 2.2mi in under 18 minutes. i had like 4 songs on my ipod that i knew would last about that long, ran at 7.0 for about 3 min, 7.2 for another 3 min, 7.4 about 3:30, 7.5 for about 3:30 and finished at 7.6 for just over 4 min.

 

i haven't needed to ice my shins or take any pain relievers for the last couple weeks. i ran wednesday, today, and if i can get my lazy ass out of bed before the game tomorrow, im going to run in the morning as well.
