Guest tbutera2112 Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 idk about intakes for the 5.4, but for the 4.6 you dont want to upgrade the intake manifold unless you have some sort of forced induction.... you lose way too much low-mid range by upgrading....guy on a stang site im on put a trickflow intake manifold on his stock gt and ran about .3 slower in the 1/4....only upgrade i would do to mine without forced induction is the bullitt intake, and thats only because i hate this shitty plastic one Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Brian the guy that tuned it seem to think the intake was holding it back because of the way the cure just stopped. I think it might help the 5.4 not wouldn't expect a lot... my plastic intake cracked. I had to get the stock replacement from autozone.
