alright i noticed that my cars blinker was blinking really fast and dim so i thought that it was just a bulb. well i changed the bulb and that obviously didnt stop the fast ticking. is my actual "blinker" shorting out or something? how would i go about fixing this?

If memory serves, check to make sure that the other end is blinking as well. Front and back. I think if one of the bulbs is burnt then the blinkers blink fast to let you know. This could be completely false and I could be wrong due to my absolute lack of sleep.
