I know there are a couple C5's running in the 8's, but the fastest one we heard about was 9.42. And the fastest MPH one was LPE's TT Z06 that went 158. BTW - This is the C5 I'm after I highly doubt it will happen this year, but you never know. With the skinnies and new front springs, my 60' and especially 330' times should drastically be reduced. Sweet car! Only down side is that guy has a solid rear axle and I'm still pushing my power through the IRS. What I don't get about his time is how he has .8 seconds on me (8.49 vs 9.32) when his 60' is only .28 better. That should only be .45 seconds. When you look at my 3 passes, .1 60' was almost exactly .15 ET. A non-Z makes it even cheaper A base '97 C5 is an easy car to justify "Cutting Up" to make a drag car out of even compared to a C5Z -- let alone a C6Z. Im also confused on how it makes it better that its a non Z, the car has a 402 or something which is not stock... So if your swaping everything anyway how does it make it better lol. But I understand kinda what you mean. I understand it has IRS, it also has a 2 step launch control, much taller tire, its tubbed, it has a chute, proper cage, its a RACE car, and we are gunning for these times with a street car .
