need help 86 ford bronco II

it cuts out like its hitting a fuel cut, ive replaced both pumps and filter and fuel regulator. Dont have pressure gauge to see if maybe lines are blocked but i was hoping rob ,rolla or dave would lend an opinion.

 

It will go till about 2k rpm and then cut out then start going again, ( i cant go any faster than 65mph in 5th) i can only give it about 1/3 to 1/4 pedal or it will just die (not completely but like im off the gas) maybe its ignition related but i dont know anymore im sick of throwing parts at it.....

Hard wire the fuel pump to the ignition switch to see if the problem goes away. There's a relay somewhere that always gives fits and hardwiring the pump is the easiest test to see if it's that relay.

ohm the tps check for a clogged cat get the ign module tested check the cap and make sure its not carbon tracked post back if one of those things doesn't take care of it

one way to check it is unbolt it from the manifold. the other is the way i do it, pull out the o2 and screw in a backpressure tester!

or even yet pull the o2 (s) out and drive it..if its better then you know it plugged up!

Clogged cats usually tend to glow red. Otherwise same things gearhead mentioned.

Would the IAC affect driving as well? They're notorious for causing problems on those.
