I made this long thread about selling my car then realized I may not have to. Rather than let the last 30 minutes go to waste I figured I would just go ahead and post up my updated mod list.... I dont bet on races, and I run for for fun, so honestly its not a secret. I aint got nuffffin to hide maing! :p

Plans:

Before the year is over I hope to have the new suspension on the car, I'm having a bit of trouble nailing down what way to go with it. I really enjoy rally but i also enjoy autocross and im also lazy so I don't know if i would want to adjust my shit.

 

Early next year.

New Motor - Hybrid 2.5 unless I find a wrecked STi to steal the ECU out of.

motor will be built to some extent.

New Turbo - SB GT14 ( 400awhp + )

New Headers - Why not the motor will be out

 

Late next year

Who knows the Camaro will be right around the corner.

 

New Tranny - We will see how the STi - RA holds up

Engine Mods:

all the other engine parts were on the car when I bought it, heads and/or intake have never been off. Yes I am a cheapskate, no timing chain, oil pump, pulleys/balancer, or Ti retainers :eek:

 

Drive train mods:

Custom built tranny (stock replacement clutches and bands, so it really is just a special shift kit, valve body mod, and some other strengthening)

TCI 3000 stall converter (stalls more like its a 4000 ????)

Rebuilt 7.5 10 bolt

3.73 gears

Detroit Locker

and again the rest is stock, axles, brakes, shocks, springs, and I am not waisting money on heavier 17 or 18 inch wheels (maybe someday I'll come across a deal on some draglites or something)

 

Suspension:

nothing else under the car.

 

I am very proud of this combo, I built it, tuned it, and drive it. Absolutly noone has worked on this car, however Starkmaster03 has helped out alot, and my wife has paid for and helped me acheive my goals. No one else deserves any credit for my car doing what it does. The last time down the track (pre-nitrous install) was its best, 1.66 60', 12.06 E.T., 112.02 MPH. I am convinced it has an 11.XX pass in it N/A, and I will spray it into the 10s.

 

Never been on a dyno, never even had anyone else look at my tune. I don't think anyone can make this combo much faster without a lot more money.

 

edit: I forgot my winter plans, I want to make it legal for 11.50s, so a 6-point bar and harness is in order. I would also like to pick up an SFI balancer. I don't think I want to spend all my extra money on this anymore. My original goal with the car was to run 11s on motor, and 10s on spray. So we'll see if I've accomplished that.

Regal - Hot wired Walbro 340, AFPR, G-Bodyparts.com 3" downpipe, some shitty catback, RJC power plate, Turbo Tweak custom chip, Janis built 200-4R. ... this winter, removing all that to put into something else.

 

R6 - selling, buying race bike.

 

KX85 - probably buying 17" wheels for it and slicks.

 

S10 - driving it into a fire.

MR2 - stock minus wheels and intake.

Plans - Slotted rotors, porterfield pads, braided steel brake hoses, polyurethane bushings, new engine mounts, front sway bar, new flex pipe, replace crankshaft seal. A lot of the plans list is due to maintenance stuff wearing out and needing to be replaced anyways.

 

Supra - Spark notes mod list - lots of head work, 3 inch exh. (stolen), more boost, dropped over 2 inches, rebuilt CT26.

Plans - Fresh bottom end, reinstall motor. Motor is out and waiting to be sent out. Plus all the maintenance type stuff.
