Where can you get steel plates.

I am currently trying to fabricate my own transmission mounts for a 6 speed into my Fiero and I need some 1/4 inch steel plates to create the mounts. Where can you go and buy just steel plates?

Try all over N. High street near campus. There's basically as much steel plate as there is actual asphalt. I'm sure nobody would notice.

 

P.S. - I might be there too, I'll be the guy blowing tires out and shit.

I can't imagine much, I'm guessing about a square foot worth. I may have some lined up from another, but let me know what you have to offer.
