kenny
Our engine management system has some unique features that Im hoping makes tuning a little easier. Unlike most systems that work off of wideband, the KAM system works off of EGTs. Each cylinder has its own EGT probe and the computer monitors every cylinder and adjusts the fuel accordingly. You can set thresholds where the system will add a little fuel and recheck the temperature.. if its not enough, it will add a little more and if that's not enough, it will either cut fuel or spark or both to that one cylinder. That's rather awesome.

Trouble Maker
Someone asked the same question - hasn't been a reply posted yet. I was wondering because I can't think of a reason you couldn't use 6 wideband o2 sensor either right? Thermocouples are cheaper. But I doubt they are worrying about cost. Is it an issue with the increased heat when you get that close cylinder, as to why you couldn't just use o2 sensors? Someone posted a comment on their site saying "550cc injector maybe?" Lulz, maybe if you ran them off of a mechanical pump normally used for DI or common rail diesel.
coltboostin
So, when they are 1/2 track and the computer decides to shut down a few cylinders because it "feels" like it, who gets the pink slip?
