wnaplay1647545503
I just got a new laptop and want to use my yahoo account when I click on a email address. It currently has office or outlook, or some bullshit that I dont want. I have followed the instructions I have found online, as far as looking in programs, however yahoo is not an option listed. I have downloaded yahoo stuff and they say by doing so, that should enable the option for yahoo, but its still not there. Any suggestions? Thanks
ForeverMaker
In FireFox (because you are using ff right?) go to preferences > applications > mailto link > select yahoo mail or gmail or whatever you want. disclaimer: i am on a mac now. my pc is currently off so on windows it could be a bit different. wnaplay1647545503
How can I tell if I am using FF?
Alex1647545498
Well... the icon you click on for your web browser should tell you. It's either internet explorer or firefox... unless you have something else installed.

Alex1647545498
tools -> internet options -> programs then select yahoo mail in emails area. If it's not there then it's not installed then you'll have to install it again from yahoo.

Alex1647545498
Download and install this http://messenger.yahoo.com/ then go back to the programs tab in internet explorer. The option will then be there.
