That's like a fighting stance right there. Cat comes in while the bear is standing up like that, the cat's gonna get a wallop that'd rip you or me in half. The cat's only advantage is maneuverability, and the fact that it was defending it's cub. The bear just wanted the berry patch to itself. Mama anything>hungry whatever.
