Mark1647545493 Posted November 13, 2008 Report Share Posted November 13, 2008 I have a friend that exploded his 4spd transmission in a 79 Mustang. He can't seem to find a replacement 4spd for it so he asked me about swapping in a T5 from a 86 and up GT. If I remember right all he needs to do is swap the bell housing and the T5 would bolt right up. Am I right? If not what else will he need parts wise to get the job done?
