Casper Posted November 14, 2008 Report Share Posted November 14, 2008 It happened around 6p on my way home. They had it shut down for only a few minutes. As soon as the ambulance left they reopened it. Traffic wasn't backed up far at all. Only took me maybe 10 more minutes than usual. No idea exactly what happened, but someone jumping makes sense. There were no cars off to the side of the road or anything. Just a few ambulances, a fire truck, a couple cops, and the right lane was blocked with flares. I dont think there will be any more news on this. its crazy I would say at least once every 6 months someone attempts to jump right there. I believe only one person before him actually took the plunge and was sucessful. everyone else either failed or was talked out of it.
