wnaplay1647545503
Fuck em. They are run by nothing but greedy businessmen. Tell the higher ups to take a pay cut and then we might talk.
Conesmasher
they need to restructure they plan. Get out of the union bullshit where they paying guys 40/hr to do a 10/hr job. And get their act together. They can't fail, but if they government lets them, everyone will be fucked. The stats are 1 out of every 10 ppl are related to working for those companies or companies that supply them. The entire market will crash. It's not the current 140,000 employees......it's the 600,000+ retirees that are on life support of Xanax, Viagra, and Lipitor. Bless their hearts, but they are the ones that were promised more than what the "mothership" could afford. They don't have 140,000 employees, they have 740,000 employees and most of them don't produce a product. THEY can fail and they should. I am fine with the market crashing, but it won't. It may go down, but GM declaring bankruptcy would be the best thing that happened to that company in its storied companies history. It keeps the markets real..... There is NOTHING wrong with failure, NOTHING. They'll have a chance to re-emerge, but their company should look nothing like it currently does. supldys
If the problem is the high prices for union wages, health care, and retirement, then instead of begging for a bailout they need to go to the union leaders and use them the way they're supposed to be used. "Hey, take a pay cut or we go under and you don't have a job anyways." I think they'll eventually listen. I guarantee they won't get a bailout, because if that many people lose jobs and even more lose retirment...liberals win, now they have millions that want welfare, unempoyment, nationalized retirment and health care. They're using the conservatives desire for a free market against them, to gain support.
