Nothing wrong with function AND form. If you like the kit, go with it. It's your car.

And besides, when that mustang pulls up next to you at the light and laughs at your body kit, it'll make it that much sweeter when you beat him.

maybe if he pulls up next to a v-6 one....and that if a apex seal dont get lost between shifts

Jake, if it was my car I would go stock front bumper with a 99 spec chin spoiler

stock rear bumper with a 99spec wing to compliment your 99 spec tails

and paint it

there are a few options that I like. One of my favorites is the 93-95 front bumper with the R1 lip and no wing in the back. I often wish my car didn't have the R1 wing on the back, but I don't feel like going through the trouble to fill the holes.

99 spec is touchy as I see some of the plateless replicas look goofy, but I'm not completely hot on having the front plate either. I go back and forth on this.

Are you planning on a repaint of the whole car or just the new stuff? Are you staying CYM?

Is this the kit you have? I like it, but stock is better than both imho.. unless you really do need a big IC opening.

Yes that is the front bumper, C West N1 kit. Just not with those lights. The stock 93-95 bumper has a very small opening, and having a larger opening allows more air flow in, and helps with reducing under hood temps.

The door jambs and everything are all painted. The only things not repainted are under the carpet.

Kenny, you really need to come up with some new material it is getting old, just like your cars.

The rx-7 is one of the few cars that I think looks better with a tasteful/functional body-kit. That fascia doesn't seem to have any disruptive lines, and overall looks to flow more efficiently. IMHO definitely better than what you got on now.
