Twistedrx7
Well as im sure all of you know the body kit on the car is butt ugly. I have the C West body kit just sitting in the garage. Now should i take it back to stock and throw on the 99spec bumper or just put the C West kit on it? Let me know what you think?

Draco-REX
Nothing wrong with function AND form. If you like the kit, go with it. It's your car. And besides, when that mustang pulls up next to you at the light and laughs at your body kit, it'll make it that much sweeter when you beat him. I'd think twice about that statement

Sparky
Is this the kit you have? I like it, but stock is better than both imho.. unless you really do need a big IC opening. http://www.fd3s.net/lights/C-West_red_car3.jpg Looks like an S2000......pass

1qwk767
Jake, if it was my car I would go stock front bumper with a 99 spec chin spoiler http://www.rx7store.net/v/vspfiles/photos/99%20Spec%20Chin-2.jpg stock rear bumper with a 99spec wing to compliment your 99 spec tails http://www.rx7store.net/v/vspfiles/photos/99%20Rear%20Wing-2.jpg and paint it
kirks5oh
Take it all off and make it look like a normal RX7. +1000 forget about any body kit. just get that thought out of your head altogether
Smokey
there are a few options that I like. One of my favorites is the 93-95 front bumper with the R1 lip and no wing in the back. I often wish my car didn't have the R1 wing on the back, but I don't feel like going through the trouble to fill the holes. 99 spec is touchy as I see some of the plateless replicas look goofy, but I'm not completely hot on having the front plate either. I go back and forth on this. Are you planning on a repaint of the whole car or just the new stuff? Are you staying CYM?
kenny
Do us all a favor and sell it to someone that doesn't see the world as yellow body kits.

excell
Completely stock. An RX7 with a body kit is like covering fillet mignon with A1 steak sauce.

I like it, but stock is better than both imho.. unless you really do need a big IC opening. http://www.fd3s.net/lights/C-West_red_car3.jpg Yes that is the front bumper, C West N1 kit. Just not with those lights. The stock 93-95 bumper has a very small opening, and having a larger opening allows more air flow in, and helps with reducing under hood temps. The door jambs and everything are all painted. The only things not repainted are under the carpet. Kenny, you really need to come up with some new material it is getting old, just like your cars. kenny
Kenny, you really need to come up with some new material it is getting old, just like your cars. Yet their body panels still fit better. Isn't that a mother fucker.
sol740
The rx-7 is one of the few cars that I think looks better with a tasteful/functional body-kit. That fascia doesn't seem to have any disruptive lines, and overall looks to flow more efficiently. IMHO definitely better than what you got on now. kenny
Just from the low quality sig pic, Hood doesn't line up even all the way across, the gap is larger at the middle than the edges. Fender doesn't meet up with bumper correctly - look at the line by the driver side headlight. Fail.
