Scotty2Hotty
End of world/Liberals only allow you one of each. Rifle of choice M14/M1A hands down (with similar set up) http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/7119/01eq3.jpg Next would be a toss up between the Glock 21 and a 1911. I think I'll take the accuracy over capacity and go 1911. El Karacho1647545492
first I'd change the rules to "One Shotgun, One Chainsaw" http://www.amandastevens.com/uploaded_images/250px-Bruce_Campbell_Army_of_Darkness-710635.jpg but if you're making me choose... rch10007
Well, what are we doing during this "end" of days? Fighting or hunting or both? The activities we're engaged in would dictate which weapons. I guess, either way, accuracy would be of utmost importance. Ammo is likely to be scarce. One shot, one kill - food or foe. All around, so defense, hunting, killing zombies, fun target shooting etc.. It's worst case senario on both parts, so choose wisely. Ammo won't be a factor in this, you'll have a stockpile for each weapon so to speak.

Trouble Maker
I only need one. http://www.2dayblog.com/images/2007/july/largest_revolver_1.jpg This is an interesting conversation. Thought I think the premis behind which it could happen is a bit flawed. I don't think think gun rights would ever erode that much. IF gun rights were to erode that much, they (the man, the government, Exxon, Dick Cheney etc) would probably just try to ban guns all together. I only thought it was moon bat evangelical right wingers who talked about the 'end of days' like it was real?
87GT
Years of counter strike have taught me the only supplies you need to rush are... MP5 or P90 HK USP Tactical Bullet Proof Vest and Helmet 1 Frag Grenade 1 Flash Grenade 1 Smoke Grenade. If I am going to be a one man army I will go with M16 S&W 357 magnum 7 shot
copperhead
Next would be a toss up between the Glock 21 and a 1911. I think I'll take the accuracy over capacity and go 1911. Preferably a Wilson Combat CQB http://www.impactguns.com/store/media/wilson/wilson_49047.jpg How do the Wilson's fare as a combat handgun? IE, will they run without issue? I always figured they were custom guns, and as such went with custom problems. One rifle, one handgun makes this difficult. I would go with my Rock Island 1911 for sure (it's been flawless, the way a USGI handgun should be) but the rifle makes it tricky. I just built an AR, so I would probably stick with that platform as ammo is easy to come by. If possible, I'd like to throw in a .308 bolt gun of whatever brand for long range hunting, as the AR would be more a close to medium range battle rifle.
