BloodRed
Anyone purchased bulk ammo online? If so who did you use and what was your experience like? I am looking to make an investment on some 9mm rounds to stock up.

Nope. I didn't even scan my I.D. I just took a pciture of the front and the back and emailed it to them. Just remember you have to pay sales tax if you buy from them. LJ
thats cool, to bad you couldnt pick up..... wonder why they only do mail orders.... It was cheaper to get it shipped than to drive there. They shut down their walk in desk due to the Obamanation fear
Avenger1647545502
Yeah, AIM was getting swamped with orders the last time I called them. 3 weeks ship time, but for their prices, it's worth the wait. Plus, I kind of prefer to support a semi-local business.
dragknee66
Putty your best bet it to start reloading with Aaron.. use his reloader.. buy everything you need that he doesnt have. Thats going to be your cheapest route by far especially since he already bought the pricey items. Oh and free .223 FTW f'ers
eBell
Places I've purchased bulk ammo from online without issue over the past 4 years: http://www.ammoman.com http://www.natchezss.com http://ammunitiontogo.com http://www.cabelas.com Where depends on what I'm looking for. CMMG would also be an option but I only use them for 5.7x28.

BloodRed
Hmm, well even thought it sounded good to buy bulk ammo, for 9mm, I might as well buy boxes from Wal-Mart. Still cheaper for there 100 round boxes of Winchesters. And I am not going to run Wolf ammo through my handguns.

Wonderboy
Well another option is gunshows, there have been more gunshows recently than I can keep track of. I picked up a 1000rd case of 7.62's for $189 at a gunshow. Also, vances and buckeye outdoors regularly run good ammo specials. I picked up 1000 rds of .40 for $180. I know they run specials on blazer 9mm ammo alot too.
