My buddy back home was telling me about this new band he's been listening to called Crooked X, so I thought i'd share the wealth:

The drummer and lead singer are 15, guitarist and bassist are both 14 lol. These kids have more talent running through them alot of adults. They have a song on Rock Band

???

They play muted power chords in drop D. If you played guitar and couldn't do that by the time you were 15 you should've been relieved of the hobby.

The lyrics flow like they were written by 15 yr ... oh ... wait. Nevermind. The "music" is so cheesy and awful its like it was made to be generic "extreme" sports montage background soundtrack # 4. Oh wait ...

Ok well since we have so many "talented" musicians on this board i'll post another song of theirs

The first song I posted was a song designed for an ad, so yeah it did kinda suck

As for lyrics, your the same group of people that prob thought Soulja Boy "Crank Dat" was earth breaking...

I think I'm going to live till my dying day as well.

Haha. I was thinking the exact same thing. Its those types of lyrics that will probably hold them back. Well on second thought, our society loves bullshit, generic, no thought, ultra "catchy" shit like that. They will be on the top 10 list this year!

You've obviously never studied the complex, yet subtle, lyrical webs that Soulja boy weaves. His heart is on display in such hip hop anthems as the aforementioned "Crank Dat". Why his overall demeanor and attitude display not only the character of a fine young citizen, but the soul of an artist.
