CRed05 Posted February 25, 2009 Report Share Posted February 25, 2009 Yea they have been around for a while. I thought there was some other problem with those, besides noise? By just looking at them it looks like you have to have a pretty large "sidewall" to protect the rims and for a soft enough ride. Maybe fine for everyday driving but I dont see them being great for performance. Lots of side to side flex. I wish I could remember what the hell it was called or find a pic. I only ever saw one car with them equipped. They supposedly out-performed better than normal tires in the wet and dry.
