TimTaylor751647545500
According to the reviews, it isn't doing well.
Drewhop
According to the reviews, it isn't doing well. The reviews seem to be all over the place. I think that if you read the comics and really liked them you will probally like the movie. If not you might not like it.

TimTaylor751647545500
Reviews are pointless IMO. If I wanna see a movie, I'm going to go see it...regardless of what some stranger that I'm never going to meet says.
RedRocket1647545505
According to the reviews, it isn't doing well. It ranks in the top 5 of the dumbest fucking movies I've ever seen. Not to mention it was twice as long as it need to be, and 10x as overhyped as it should have been.
Mr. Jones
I had such high hopes for this flick. Probably still go see it ASAP.
V8 Beast
More hype = more let down. Austin has taken away the hype. Now that we think the movie is horrible there is a greater chance of us enjoying it. Lowered expecations FTW!
Skinner
http://smiliesftw.com/x/inoutugh.gif did you read the comic??
RedRocket1647545505
did you read the comic?? If it's anything like the movie, then I'm glad I didn't.
RedRocket1647545505
It didn't look very good from the previews.. too much cgi usually means crappy everything else. It wasn't so much that there was too much CGI; just too much dumb.

sol740
It wasn't so much that there was too much CGI; just too much dumb. The comics were amazing. Though the storylines probably aren't for everyone. I heard they stayed pretty faithful to the comic so I'm pretty sure I'll love it. I heard they stayed pretty faithful to the comic so I'm pretty sure I'll love it. from what I'm reading in the reviews the plot is story very close with minor changes some being pointless and the ending is different as well (per the reviews)

Alex L.
I just saw it tonight with my buddies. Was a good movie IMO, but extremely long. Be prepared to sit on your ass for 3 hours.
sol740
Well the story spans multiple sets of characters across 40 some years, so I assumed it was gonna be a little long ... hell it should probably be longer.
B3NN3TT
It should have been a 12-hour HBO miniseries, really. I saw this last night. I enjoyed it, but I can't tell if I actually enjoyed it on its own merits. I have a dog-eared copy of the WATCHMEN paperback that I bought in about 1990, so I'm pretty attached to the source material. So I might just be responding to what I know about the story, and not what I saw in the movie - like my mind is filling in a lot of blanks without me knowing it. Regardless, I did enjoy the movie. The re-write was creative enough to not make me groan, and it was indeed beautiful. A Little too much CGI here and there, but what can you do. Rally Pat
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, but there were some parts that could have been cut down, like spending 20 minutes on Mars having some rather pointless dialogue. Oh and be prepared to look at blue penis for 3 hours. Overall, I think they reviewers are wrong.
