thorne
So I was getting ready for work and I was tracing some wires for my wide band. At some point a wire came lose for my wb gauge and shorted out. I had a spark and the car died. Now when i turn the key forward it does not turn on the radio or anything like that. But the horn and the ding bell still work. I looked at all the fuses under the dash and none where blown,
thorne
more info I looked at visually the SBF Fuses under the hood. I pulled all the fuses under the dash and looked at them. when you turn the key forward you do not get Radio ac/heat blower fuel pump prime dash normal lights headlights (I'm pretty sure) But you do still have all the things that normally would not need a key. horn ding bell mileage

ODoyle
What about fuseable links? You could have very well torched an ignition related fuse or relay.

That's a story on CentralOhioSuabrus.com that I typed out long ago and explained how the stealler ship was tring to rip me off about.... Guest Removed
no a 50amp. underhood relay box. fuse was blown on the side and if you wasnt looking for it, you would have not even seen it like bill didnt. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y196/gearhead559/Shop%20stuff/subbyfusbox.gif in that pic the main 80 is sbf-1 the one he cracked was sbf-3 or 4. it was the only one there. Fubar231
Once i was headin to work and my o2 sensor wires touched, cause my turbo melted some of the heat shrink off, and it blew my efi fuse. I fucked with my car for like 30 mins on the side of the road before i thought about fuses. It was my efi fuse, thank god i was right across the street from a gas station.
