DTM Brian
Was it the MAF calibration ? KR? Yeah, I'm assuming the baseline lean spike was caused by KR. Typical for cars with a 3.4 pulley and still on a factory tune, or a lot of times even on stock pullied cars (but to a lesser extent). On WOT runs, as the RPM's climb, the stock PCM may pull a shitload of timing, which appears to be the case in this instance. I could be wrong though I don't see how pulling timing would make it go lean. If my WRX pulls timing it make it a tad rich for a second but settles back I'm not sure as I would expect if your pulling timing there is already a predet situation. Taking fuel away from that would not make sense. What ever it is Brian made that guys care safer and more power. There was about 13% adjustment in the maf needed accross the whole table. I believe this had something to do with the cold air intake on the car. The fuel delivery issue on the first pull was due to a weak fuel pump. I took the customer to get a GTP specific fuel pump after watching the fuel pressure drop on the first pull. Here is what the customer had to say about his experience at Dyno Tune First off big thanks to brian for the deal on the tune, it was awesome and im very pleased and after figuring out i had a shot fuel pump we got the car dialed in pretty good, and it moves plus i got 30mpg on the highway on the way back from the shop to cincy i would recommend dyno tune motorsports to anyone, grand prix or not ill definitely be back for the tune and that delicious pizza
Main3s
hmmm that makes me curious as to what mine would run? i have a ZZp 2.5" DP, custom catback/flowmasters, CAI, 3.4 pulley, intense PCM and some minor little shit maybe you can tinker with my tune a little brian? i wanna get my tranny flushed and add a shift kit/new filter first though. Well with a CAI, 3.4 pulley, T-stat, coledr plugs and Dyno Tune from Brian my GTP ran 13.7 @ 99 mph. With 1.9 rockers and a 3" exhaust it went 13.4 @ 103 mph. All on pump gas and street tires with minor weight reduction ( No spare tire, floor mats... etc) I had good 60fts though 1.8's and 1.9's. Good for a FWD with stock suspension that is. More of a science, as in third degree polynomial... This was a very crude scatterplot (no filtering) of laminar flow test across an LS6 MAF, notice the trend line... http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/3100/rawmafdata.gif

That's all I would do. If I had to do it all over again, I don't think i would have gone past that. The cars was fun to drive and reliable. After the 300 WHP mark things went down hill fast.
