Guest Hal
i have deleted the pprv on my car because i had the dreaded 'hesitation' between shifts issue. deleted the pprv, added the kb frps disc, and have never blown an frps (knock on wood). i had to pay $15 for mine---tiny washer with a hole in it. check your oil to make sure it doesn't smell like gas. when the frps blows, it can (not always) allow quite a bit of fuel into your crankcase, necessitating an oil change. most common inciting event of a blown frps??? ----a missed shift, where you over-rev the car. I am too lazy to order a disc so I usually just keep a spare FRPS around. I don't have one right now so, I guess it's time to order one. dover
When my 2.2 locked up it took me close to a month to get it repaired by KB,
Guest Hal
When I was working on my 2.2 I spent about an hour just hanging up and redialing until I got through. It was ridiculous.

Termin8er04
OK update...It was the FRPS!!! I unpluged it and she idled fine. I had the part shipped to ford(germain sawmill), then installed it this morning. They charged me $80 so it was a bit steep for that little part but, glad thats all it was. Shes running top notch now! thanks for all the help!
