For lack of a more thought-out question; why is there no mention of the possibility of that material being from one of the bombers on the plane?

So.... Thermite... Aluminum and Iron Oxide (rust.) It just HAD to come from a bomb, not say slamming hundreds of tons of refined aluminum into a old steel structure and cooking at extremely high temperatures for a long period of time?
