fooswinger
Ok...so I was crusing down 270 going 80mph tonight heading to work when all of a sudden my engine kinda missed and then about 5 miles after that it stalled and started smoking as I pulled over. I lifted up the hood and there was a huge hole in the radiator. It was shooting fluid all over the engine so I stopped it, from leaking fluid all over the engine. I tried starting it again and it started smoking from engine and shaking really bad. Any ideas? 90 honda 5spd hatch
Cordell
Does it have a temp gauge? and did you notice how hot the car was? Something like that could have easily damaged the engine if not stopped right away. Going until it started missing could have easily blown a head gasket or warped a head. Cordell
of course you could've just got the ignition all wet and caused the misfire.
Guest Removed
more then likely hurt it... these are bad about blowing the head gasket right between 2 and 3.. hopefully you didnt get it too hot and warp the head! oh and the radiator could have blown out from the cylinder pressure building up in the cooling system. Don't be so quick to condemn, if you aren't sure how to insect it and tell I'm sure some of us could check it out.
