getting gears

im getting gears installed hopefully before track day. going with 4.10s. going to order them tomorrow. i believe someone quoted me 350 but matt said he got his in for 150. anyone have suggestions on where to have them installed?

arent you going with a blower set up soon might want to take a step down from 410s if thats the case.... and yes we have tons of sponsors that can do that I personally suggest Gearhead

 

i think im going to hold off on the blower till the funds are there. for now, just picked up the gears, waiting for someone to install them

still going to need the rear pinion bearing. how many miles are on it?

 

the complete bearing kit is cheap insurance. i dont like reusing old bearings. and like i said, its rather hard to save the one bearing.

if its the Complete Kit (pictured)

Pinion shims, seal, bearings, nut, and washer

Crush sleeve

Cover gasket

Ring gear bolts and washers

Thread locker

Gasket sealer

Marking compound and application brush

 

then yes. if its a low mile car, then i would say getting just the $21 dollar kit and the one pinion bearing you would be fine. otherwise i recoomend the complete kit.

 

 

 

and it looks like i was needed anyway
