03spydr Posted April 29, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 29, 2009 Thanks! I finally have just about everything I've wanted to do with the flame theme accomplished. I've just found that Turtle Wax Ice paste wax works pretty good for an "over the counter" product. It's hard to find something that works good on black that you can just go to the store and pick up. The heat shield flames will be gone when I put my headers on. I'll probably keep the saddlebag latches mainly due to the gay red reflectors on the stock ones. Thanks for the input! I was crossing my fingers for the Trails track day to get rained out so I could make it out for the rain date. I had to work for the regular date. Columbus is a 600 mile round trip, so my wife might not want to make it a day trip when we come out. The next time I'm off Friday-Saturday and the weather is decent, we will make it out.
