Don't do it, it's like fucking a porn star. Going back home driving your own car is like coming back to a fat bitchy wife.

cant drive something with no valve springs in it :p

When I was 17 I drove a maroon 1989 honda civic that couldn't hit 100mph if it were falling from a military aircraft 30,000 feet high. You're lucky.

I know I am lucky, I'll be the first to admit it.

I still want to drive Ant's car though. :)

Is there actually duct that makes the connection or is it just more fresh air?

There's a duct. The LSx f-body airboxes have their opening towards the front. The hood has a cavity behind the nostrils that knocks the rain out of incoming air and has slots in the back that line up with the opening in the airbox.

Ram Air hasn't really been *RAM* air for a long time. Really, it's just a way to get cold air fed directly to the airbox. Not that Ram Air is greatly functional. I think you get maybe 1psi of pressure at 100mph or something like that. The "Free Ram Air" mod works just as well as the hood, though the hood doesn't heatsoak the intake as quickly as the mod.
