TimTaylor751647545500 Posted June 17, 2009 Report Share Posted June 17, 2009 :jerkit: Rig Carrying Lotion Loses Load Along I-71 WEST JEFFERSON, Ohio — Traffic south of Columbus along Interstate 71 was down to one lane Tuesday afternoon after a tractor-trailer that was carrying body lotion overturned. The crash occurred in the southbound lanes, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Troopers said that the rig was driving south when it drifted off the interstate, crossed over the median, went into the northbound portion of the median and then went back over the divider into the southbound median before rolling over onto its right side. SPECIAL SECTION: Traffic The driver was airlifted to The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. His injuries were considered minor, troopers said. The rig lost its load of individual size bottles of Bath and Body Works lotion. Southbound traffic on I-71 was down to one lane and all lanes were estimated to reopen at 1:30 p.m. No charges were immediately filed. Stay with 10TV News and 10TV.com for additional information.
