Thats what i mean by mod for mod. If the SHO and GTP have the same mods im pretty sure the SHO will pull away. The GTP is easier to mod though because there is much more aftermarket support. Im honestly not sure, i think your car is making a fair amount more power but the sho does have a mean 3rd and 4th gear.
