Bam
I'm looking at buying a waverunner that has an issue starting, but not staying running. Owner says its just started this season, and will start with starter fluid fine, and sometimes by itself after running for a bit, but thinks the carbs need cleaned or it may need a fuel diaprham, his words, not mine. Anyways, where can I take it to get a quote done or who can work on these things and want to take a look at it for me? thanks
XChris1632X
A little info about the ski would help. You know year, make, and model... Some places only work on things that are so old, for instance Ask Powersports will not work on anything older than an 2002. I wanted to have my 99s serviced before I got home so I didnt have to fool with it and they wouldn't do it. I am sure I can point you in the right direction but I have to know what it is. I would work on it for you but I am just too busy right now. It sounds like the carbs need run through.
Akula
Sounds like a pump diaphragm. You can google for maintenance manuals. Cost you a heck of a lot less learning how to fix it than taking it somewhere.
