It still would have taken a bit of time for the right stuff to get wet. Just dropping the laptop into the tub with the external cord submerged would have just blown up the transformer then popped a breaker if the transformer box wasn't in the tub. The laptop without and external cord would have just been one very wet and probably not functional laptop. Very true, but its still got a wire coming from the wall to a transformer box then a wire to the laptop. It just uses a "for EURO only" part number for the power cable.
