Having stepped on large sting rays in the Bahamas and had encounters with barracuda in San Juan, I can say that size isn't everything to scary ocean life... but it's still a big part of it. at 26' on the beach, that bitch would look like a 50' man eater from my POV if I saw it in the ocean near me. I remember seeing a 4' Cuda when in Grand Caymen. Our guide said it was no big deal, but told us since he was following us to not dangle any fingers or shiny objects as he would easily clip off a hand or what not in a split second. To me he looked like and 8' maneater...but again, in the water with my senses heightened, everything was scary after that Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
