im stoked. cant wait to pick it up thursday, its needs a little work. but for what it has done to it. being rust free. ( truly rust free! ) and being a org 5.0 5 speed car with black interior that is close to perfect. i could not pass it up the price. ill get a new windshield for it on monday, put the new rear view miorr i got for it today on. get it registered, this its time to have some fun and curise around.

 

anyways. im really happy with this hatch. has a handfull of mods. runs strong as hell.

 

 

yeah. theres a sorry to go along with why it needs one lol. its got some dents and dings. paints fadded. it needs a little tlc on the body work but is a stright and true car. that runs strong.

 

its got a handful of bolt on's, cam. gears. full exhaust. some ignition stuff. sub frames, lowering springs. and a few other things. has a cowl and new head lights. the headlights need adjusted VERY BAD lol. ( ill probaly jjust take it to rob and have him aim them real quick becasue i never could get the lights on my vert aimed right :mad:

 

he gave me a hand full of time slips and the best was a 13.2 @ 104 on drag radials. so i guess we will find out what it will run after i get some time and find a way to run it at the track :confused:

in this pic you can see what i mean about some body work is needed is the rear 1/4 and the driver front fender.

nope. these ones are growing on me. it runs STRONG. had a little let down on the highway with it. 3.73's at 70 for 70 miles and it started to heat up. all good now. its home now.

 

and yes i still have alot of the performance parts left. but there going to get sold. different direction with this one.

 

i picked it up for 2,800. ill throw up a mod list of whats all done to it tomm. anyone know where i can get a windsheild installed for cheaper then 159.99? thats the cheapest ive found so far.

well that safelite glass is not..its cheap ass shit. cracks way easyer, and chips easy..but its cheap..not much..but there is a differnce..

 

and why not mod this

im going to, just going a different route with this one. just going to enjoy it the resr of the year and mess with it some this winter. or start gathering parts.

JoAnn fabrics carries the elastic that is in the door. It may not be the same color, but it's the right stuff. Take your door panel apart and pull the elastic out. Take your sample in, buy the new stuff, reassemble and viola, all fixed.

While safelite glass is shit, "factory" glass is usually just PPG stamped "Ford" (or another comparable company)
