Tearing off panling from 1972.

So yesterday my son and I start pulling off the paneling that was all over the upstairs in the house. Now THIS is some ugly ass color.

and NO, that's NOT shit on the wall. It's some type of really smelly, really hard glue that the dumbass probably tried to hang the paneling on first and noticed it wasn't working.

thats nothing dude, you should have seen the red crushed velvet and gold foil wallpaper we found when redoing our great room.

 

still waiting on pics of this...ashley has said something about it at least twice that we've went out to meets.

I got some work done today on it. I'll take pics tomorrow. Took off the brown glue crap. I ended up going back behind it, behind the paper and going to the drywall with a putty knife and scraping it all out. Then I put a thin coat all over to fill the gaps. Should be ready to sand tomorrow if I get motivated. I gotta take a chunk of drywall out behind the TV and cut and fit, then seam it. Oh the joy.
