V8 Beast
I have a faulty valve on my bottle so I'm trying to remove it and put on a brand new one. Problem is when it was certified I think they had the incredible Haulk tighten in. Would heating up the top with a torch to loosen it up compromise the safety of the bottle? I need to get this thing off....
gillbot
i was told not to use heat. They said grip the valve in a vice and use your muscles or a large strap wrench to turn the bottle.

They said grip the valve in a vice and use your muscles or a large strap wrench to turn the bottle. Thats what I was afraid of. I went as far as straping it down and jumpinp on the handle of the wrench. I'll just take it back to the scuba place and have them take it off. V8 Beast
After all that Aquatic Adventure removed the valve for $10. If anyone needs anthing done with a bottle just take it to them, This is the 3rd time they have helped me out with stupid bottle issues.
