ReconRat
One of Columbus's secrets that most people know... Talitas in Grove City. (Yes, they finally moved away from North High St in Clintonville.) It's Tex-Mex by a Tex-Mex family that moved here from Brownsville Texas in 1968. Get the big flour nachos to start snacking on, WITH the green sauce, heheh... I like the beef/bean burritos, chalupas, and especially the enchiladas. You won't find enchiladas like those anywhere else. Be aware that it is popular with Columbus detectives and prosecutors, lol.http://www.talitas.com/

Artmageddon
I'm originally from eastern Ohio, and there are few restaurants that originated there that have since migrated to Columbus. If you like hot dogs, go to Gulla's in Delawarehttp://www.gullashotdogs.com/These are known throughout the Wheeling area.If you like pizza, check out DiCarlos, there is one on Tuttle and one in Hilliard, I'm not sure where. I bet is like nothing you've ever had before. It sure as hell isn't all of these Donato's clones we have. It's square and the cheese is not melted. Yes, you read that correctly, cold cheese, and it is as addictive as crack. http://www.dicarlospizza.com/locations.cfmIf you like East of Chicago pizza or any other deep dish, check out Defelice Brothers. It is freakin' awesome. It's over near Livingston and Brice. http://www.defelicebrospizza.com/index-2.html Edited February 10, 2009 by Artmageddon

ReconRat
Stuebenville pizza does that too... it's delish.Yeah, it's a Steubenville and West PA thing... We rode over there in a group, early last year, just to get some pizza. Then rode another 250 miles all about. Was an iron butt that day. Yeah, was sore too. ReconRat
You know, I was really disappointed at Schmidt's, I expected German brats, and they sure didn't taste like it. Nothing like German brats. Hell, a Johnsonville brat tastes more like a German brat...edit: well, ok... there was one German street vendor brat that was similar, not very good... there you go...
