Akula
Just wondering who has upgraded yet. I work with a bunch of guys that have, the built in VPN client with local IP access is very nice.
excell
3 of my 7 guys have, one bricked his MBP and didn't back up because "It's a Mac, why would I back up?" Oops!
Benner
Mine should be here tomorrow. Didn't have time to go to the apple store so I just ordered online and saved a couple bucks in the process. A buddy of mine has it and says its really nice. Not that the previous wasn't
unfunnyryan
I got mine. They still haven't fixed SMB sharing . Bastards. How do they wish to succeed with a OS that won't work properly with a primary domain controller? I'll have to try out the VPN client. I do like the improved snappiness of some of the relatively small things.
ForeverMaker
Upgraded at home. A macbook and macbook pro. No problems so far. At work, I will wait till the first .x patch. Performance with Adobe Creative Suite 4 is suppose to improve which will be very nice.
Putty
I just got banned from Mac forum for telling a guy to "take a hike". Kinda fuck ass ban is that!
street pilot
Test copies are on the way at work. I'm looking forward to seeing this ical/mail integration with exchange.
B3NN3TT
I ordered it back on the 3rd of August from Amazon, but it hasn't arrived yet - which is a crock. I expected them to ship it early enough to get it to my house on release day, like Apple does. The few people I've talked to about it so far have been pretty happy with the ease of upgrade and the huge amount of hard drive space they have gotten back. Radio Flyer1647545514
What's this cost? Is it worth the money from what you can tell?
SpaceGhost
$29 and yes I updated on Fri, everything works except iStat menus on my MacBook Air, but that will be updated this week I hear. Oh also because Cisco is gay and so is clean agent I can't get on the wi-fi at CSCC. Some cool features for sure. Expose in the dock now is quite nice since I am still kinda used to windows. It makes finding open programs easier.

B3NN3TT
I got back 20 gigs of HD space on my Mac Mini after upgrading. Bench tests show it is running quicker now as well.
SpaceGhost
Really you didn't gain that much SL now reports in base10. But what was gained is a big chunk, it's just not that 20GB number.
unfunnyryan
I'm actually starting to experiance a lot of random freezes where the system just stops responding for 10-15 seconds..Anyone else?

SpaceGhost
I've had 0 issues. The thing shuts down in 3 seconds, you can time it every time, 3 seconds. Awesome.
unfunnyryan
I've had 0 issues. The thing shuts down in 3 seconds, you can time it every time, 3 seconds. Awesome. Mine...is hanging at shutdown. I'm going to start looking through some of my background programs I run and check for any updates. Might just be one programs incompatibility causing all my trouble. I had ZERO problems with Leopard, so it further reinforces one of my other hates.. Fuck snow.
Akula
Shut down? Why on earth would you shutdown?
unfunnyryan
Shut down? Why on earth would you shutdown? Lets replace "Shut down" with "restart because nothing is responding anymore" Although, today everything has worked perfectly.. .. It may of just been on its period last week. SpaceGhost
Shut down? Why on earth would you shutdown? I have a MacBook Air, and it's pointless to let it sleep overnight on battery. I shut it down.
Flyin Miata
About to install it on my Macbook Pro (old version, from 2006 or so). Crossing my fingers that nothing gets fucked up because I'm too stupid and lazy to backup.
