Buck531
I need someone to come look at my 12 or so year old dryer. It starts squealing really bad like metal on metal. I looked at the belt and it's tight and all. The drums turns fine it just makes a LOUD squealing noise. The sound is almost coming from the middle/top part of the back almost where the heating element is from what i can see when I pulled off the top cover. Buck531
Well I found this on google. I'm going to see if I can take it apart tomorrow. Unless anyone has taken one of these apart and replaced them. It would be great to have a second set of hands. http://www.askmehelpdesk.com/advice/t-20960.html

I can probably get the kit for $20-30 to fix it. I would just like to have another set of hands if anyone has done this before.
GRN96WS6
Bucky it isn't hard to replace the bushing if that's what it is, but having another set of hands wouldn't hurt either. I had to help my dad do it on his dryer and the part was cheap.
Rotarded1647545491
I had to put Mojoe's back together after he tried it....alone. It's not that hard, but you definitely need to sets of hands. I'd help but my ass is owned at work until Monday
Buck531
It's been making this noise for the past two months . lol. It's drying clothes as we speak. I know if I let it go any further it might damage something else. I think she only has a few more loads of laundry and we should be ok for a week.
