Obtaining social security card help needed

We had a few cards come up missing after we moved a few years back. I want to go ahead and get new copies of them but dont want to wait by doing it online. Anyone ever get one at the social security office? Is it the one downtown> What was needed? Thanks

I picked one up in NC one time. Im pretty sure I needed an original copy of birth certificate and state ID.

There is a Social Security office in Whitehall, my wife went there to change her name. I beleive its a fairly straight forward process, just take ID and birth certificate.

im going to assume passport or drivers license. an for the kid you just have to have the a true birth cirtificate. not a copy of one i had to get a new card reisued as well. went to the whitehall very easy an straight forward

yep i just went to this office few weeks ago. but we had ID... maybe a utility bill or something like that? bank statements? i dunno...

 

but this place was pretty fast and it took a couple weeks to get in the mail.
