i just got a kart kt100 non-shifter, thinking of taking it out because the fee is only $15, don't know how fun it would though, i mean the tires would only be half warm by the time you finish right? I also don't know if my gearing is going to be low enough 11/90?

I think that's plenty low - I think the kids are running mid 80T rears, not sure on fronts, but 11T is pretty small.

I'm not with the SCCA, however I might show up for this. Isn't it really expensive though, like 55$?

Checked DLB Racing (I've been a "chief" for so long I didn't remember) - it shows "New SCCA Member $38.00". With the new rules everyone has to be a member (temporary as needed) to run. Not real cheap, but better than $55!

That's preregistered, I don't know if it's any more registering that morning. I don't think so, but not sure.

I may show up the day of, i want to do rallycross on Sunday but I'm also getting skipped on pay this month, theirs no way i can fork out $45 i might not be able to afford the $15. if i do come i got a 82tooth rear and a 90 rear witch one should i run? kt100 is piped, I've asked other kart guys but none of them have ever autocrossed a kart before.

If it were me, I'd run the 82T. We try and run a pretty "flowing" course, so more top end should be preferable.

i'll be there too as will ash. now should i make her my tire warmer or should i be nice since the car doesn't turn at all on cold tires and run before her?

AJ,

As old as those tires are and with as many runs as they have, they probably won't get warm enough no matter who runs first. You both make the most of them for sure. Are new tires in the plans yet for next year?

You know, for the price of a set of those tires, you could get a kart. One that you and Ashley could both drive.....

The dark side is calling.....

A cheaper way to FTD.......

See you Saturday!
