I was in the 14 area with 1 MLG. The road to temecula from base. The one that cuts thru fallbrook? I'm not sure of the name but I know what you're talking about. I used to go up to Temecula all the time, and we lived in Vista, but I would always get off on the 15 at that exit just to drive that road, lol. Added like 20 minutes to the trip and the wife hated it, but ah well.

Thanks for all the good comments guys. I'm glad there are still some normal car guys who can apprecieate something different, even if it isn't there style. Never really been into muscle, however I knew I didn't wanna be another guy with a civic. So I went this route. Not the greatest platform, and not a whole lot of support, but I enjoy it.

I know the windy road your talking about near temecula, I remember even as a kid there was a huge rock the size of a house off the side of the road and someone painted it to look like a big sheep.

Most like it's the same one! I remember when we got to the top... there was some type of observatory up there. I did a google search and found the surrounding roads that I was referring to:

Yeah Palomar!!! Last time I was out that way, the police were having a big issue with guys not street racing anymore but now racing down palomar mountain in the early morning hours. California has the jdm touge trend now.

My name is Shaun, just got done with 4 years in the Marines and moved back home to Dayton. I currently drive a 05 Hyundai Tiburon with too much money into it, lol.

Mod List:

Eaton MP62 supercharger with 2.8" upper pulley (stg 2), along with custom intercooler setup, upgraded 310cc injectors

Full race shortblock with ross racing pistons, 8.8:1 lowered comp, etc.

Apexi Neo along with zeitronix wideband

Injen SRI and Injen SES catback, still on the stock headers (is changing soon)

Just blew up my stock clutch, so a CM stg 4 with fidanza fw is coming.

And by the end of winter I will either be upgrading to a stg 4 s/c setup, or upgrading all together to the MP90 blower. We shall see.

Zefiro chaos cf hood with aerocatch locking hood pins

Black euro tails (kind of getting sick of so will either put the stockers back on, or may nightshade them)

APE traction bars

Currently only putting down 240 and 206 to the wheels, however the stock headers are very restrictive and I'm losing around 20 whp due to the lower comp of the racing block. My goal is 300-325 and 280 or so to the wheels.

This is Sat. (10/10) dyno vid.

And this is an old vid back in Cali when I was only a 3.1 upper pulley makin about 4 lbs of boost peakin at like maybe 6.

I'm from Dayton too. Why a tibby? Are you a ricer?

Guess so. Like I said, never really been into muscle. Always liked coupes, normally foreign. Was looking at an evo or sti originally, but they were all over cali too and I wanted something a little different. So I went this route and ended up with what I have now.
