WTF are these people going to do, commute to work from Las Vegas? So even if they move here from out of state, they will technically become Ohioans, nullifying the argument that these jobs wont be given to Ohioans. Technically this will help our Unemployment rate: Example: If Ohio has 10,000,000 residents, and a 10% unemployment rate. 1,000,000/10,000,000 = .10 = 10% If Ohio adds 34000 jobs, unemployment drops to 9.96%. 1,000,000/10,034,000 = .996 = 9.96% So technically that commercial saying the jobs wont be going to Ohioans is bullshit. Not only will they be local to us, but they will be newer and current casino owners stand to lose repeat customers from not only this state but also customers from within their own states seeking a differnt view.
